The company was founded in 2011 by Darren Saunders, who has a wealth of valuable experience and knowledge. After many years in the gas industry, he felt he could put his commitment to quality and trademark personal touch to great use by starting his own business. And so ICS was born.
He continues to work for the company as Director and oversees each job on site. Our headquarters in Leatherhead are home to our back-office functions which provide our clients with a dedicated support team. That’s what we mean when we say ICS always provides a personal (and personalised) service.
We invest in our staff to ensure they are up to date with all required regulations and certifications. All our engineers are on the Gas Safe Register, meaning they are permitted by law to work safely on gas appliances. They are also registered with the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), the industry body set up to improve health and safety standards across the UK. What’s more, ICS is a member of the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), the leading trade organisation for building engineering services contractors in the UK.
ICS is a member of the Carbon Trust, meaning all our installations meet strict sustainability specifications. Not only is this contributing to the protection of the environment but also offers our clients energy-efficient solutions that will save them money in the long term.
